GPU rendering in Blender Cycles v2.79b & v2.80 beta + E-Cycles - GTX 1660 Ti RTX 2060-2070-2080(Ti) GTX 980(Ti)-1080(Ti) 20 April 2019 - Compute. We recently covered the performance of Turing GPUs in commercial CUDA GPU render applications and OpenCL based render engines. Now it's time to focus our attention on Blender. The updated toolset of Blender 2.91 features improvements to cloth sculpting, boolean operations, mesh to volume and volume to mesh conversion, custom curve bevels, searchable UI panels and more. Combined with hundreds of bug fixes, Blender 2.91 is more polished and stable than ever. But wait, there's more. Check out what's new in 2.91.
- Blender 2.80 features a redesigned user interface that puts the focus on the artwork that you create. A new dark theme and modern icon set were introduced. Keyboard, mouse and tablet interaction got a refresh with left click select as the new default.
